Could this be the next winner of A Dal and appear in Tel Aviv?
New York City born Kallay Saunders is back with a new project called Middletonz.
We last saw Kallay participate in A Dal in 2017 with his project, Kallay Saunders Band. They advanced to the final, only to miss out on the ticket to Kiev to Joci Papai.
The Middletonz are comprised of Kállay and Slashkovic and Iranian-Dutch rapper. Their sound definitely is genre bending. It has influences of rap, EDM, electro and modern pop. They definitely are bringing a new sound to Kallay’s fans that sounds like a natural evolution from his previous work. The debut single “Roses” is written by Saunders and Slashkovic, and there are reports that they have submitted an edited version for A Dal.
The previous winners of A Dal, AWS show that a band with a very non-Eurovision sound can win and even make it to the finals! What do you think of the video and song?
