Hungary: A Dal Heat 2 qualifiers decided

We now know the next six acts who’ll slug it out in next month’s Semi-Finals for a place in the Final of A Dal 2018.

Another Saturday, another great show – and another evening of good ‘Fortuna’ for some and ‘Unsubstantial Blues’ for others (to namecheck two previous Hungarian ESC entries!). Yes, ten more acts put themselves on the line in Heat 2 of A Dal 2018 tonight and found themselves whittled down to six survivors whose dreams of springtime in Lisbon are still very much alive.

The five acts selected to proceed as a result of the first round of voting (a combined jury and public verdict) were:

  • AWS: Viszlát nyár  – 45 points
  • Gergely Dánielfy: Azt mondtad – 45 points
  • Gábor Heincz (‘Biga’): Good vibez – 43 points
  • Yesyes: I let you run away – 43 points
  • Odett: Aranyhal – 39 points

A public vote then produced the sixth qualifier:

  • Nene: Mese a királyról 37 – points
  • Peet Project: Runaround 36 – points
  • SativuS: Lusta lány con 34 – points
  • Viki Singh: Butterfly house 34  points
  • Maya ’n’ Peti: Nekem Te 30  points

This victorious six now join last week’s six qualifiers in the Semi-Final waiting-room, where they’ll be joined next Saturday by another six acts. Then it’ll be all aboard the Semi-Final express, with two shows on 10th and 17th February building up to the big day on Saturday 24th February.

Bring it on, Budapest!
