Tonight, March 3rd 2023, you can watch the German national final in which this country will find its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. The televised show starts at 22:20 CET, and can watched on our dedicated live platform, ESCplus Live. The show will be broadcast from the German city of Cologne.

How will the winner be decided?
The winner of the German national final will be decided by an international professional jury (50%) and public televoting (50%). The professional jury has members of different countries, such as: The Netherlands, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and Austria.
Interval act
The German national final knows one interval act: The BossHoss and Ilse Delange, who is known from the 2014 Eurovision act, The Common Linnets, with whom she came in second with the song “Calm After the Storm”. Ilse and The BossHoss will perform their joint single “You”.

Eurovision 2022
In the contest of 2022 Malik Harris competed for Germany with the song “Rockstars”; Germany ended in 25th position in the Grand Final, thus last. Germany is one of the Big Five countries, and does not have to compete in any of the Semi-finals of the contest.
