First three finalists decided in Ukraine

Tonight’s first Semi-Final of Vidbir 2018 saw ESC big-hitters Ukraine pick the first three acts who’ll go up against each other in the Final in two weeks’ time.

The three who made it through, thanks to a combination of public and jury voting, were:

  • Сonstantine: ‘Misto’
  • Serhiy Babkin: ‘Kriz tvoyi ochi’
  • Laud: ‘Waiting’
  • Kazka: ‘Dyva’
  • The VIO: ‘Ng’a-Ng’a’
  • Kozak System: ‘Mamai’
  • Vil’na:Forest song’
  • Pur:Pur: ‘Fire’
  • The Erised: ‘Heroes’

We’ll do it all again next Saturday to find out who’ll be joining tonight’s successful trio of contenders at the sharp end of the selection process for ESC 2018.

Ukraine – winners of the ESC in 2004 and 2016 thanks to Ruslana and Jamala – will be appearing in the Second Semi-Final of Eurovision 2018 on Thursday 10th May, as they seek a third victory in fifteen attempts.
