It has just been announced the first tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 will be on sale next Monday (December 15) at 9.00 CET.
Tickets can be purchased on-line on Oeticket.com and they will be available in six categories. In addition to Oeticket.com the tickets will also be sold over the phone at +43 1 96096. No reservation is possible.
A total of 100.000 tickets will be sold for nine shows. More tickets will go on sale in the next few months after the final distribution of the space at the Wiener Stadthalle, including the camera positions, stage design as well as the Green Room.
Besides the three live shows – the two Semi-Finals on the 19th and 21st of May and the Final on the 23rd of May – there are also tickets available for the Jury Shows (second Dress Rehearsals) and the Family Shows (third Dress Rehearsals) of each show.
ORF’s official partner for the sales is thus Oeticket which has extensive experience in selling tickets for large-scale events where they have been able to handle up to 1800 sales per minute. For the Eurovision Song Contest, the server capacity will be increased to ensure a smooth process.
