Finland: The Rasmus is planning a grand performance

A couple of weeks ago our ESCplus reporter, Denis, had an interview with lead singer Lauri Ylönen of the Finnish entrants of this year, “The Rasmus”. In this interview Lauri addressed that there would be minor tweaks to the performance on stage in Turin, but because the band is the first to perform in the second Semi-final on the 10th of May 2022 huge changes are being made to the performance.

YLE says…

YLE, the Finnish National Broadcaster, promises some huge changes for the performances of The Rasmus during the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy. Supposedly the performance will even be “brand-new”.

On the Twitter account of UMK, the national Finnish Eurovision final, YLE says the following:

The Rasmus’s Eurovision show will be VERY different compared to UMK. There’s gonna be a lot of props in the air!! Get ready!

Whatever it may mean, it sounds very promising, and we cannot wait for The Rasmus to take the stage during the second Semi-final in Italy.
