On April 13th the schedule of the Eurovision Village in this year’s host city, Liverpool (UK), was announced. This year’s Eurovision Village will be fully packed with a great program to enjoy while in Liverpool. The events are all planned between May 5th and 13th 2023. There will be live music and dance performances, and much more every day between 21:00 and 02:00.
The Eurovision Village, which will have a capacity for 25,000 people, will be on Pier Head in the city of Liverpool, United Kingdom. Once Pier Head was the setting off point for Trans-oceanic liners to cities as Boston, New York, but also Cape Town.

The organization “Culture Liverpool” expects 15,000 people to be present every night in the Eurovision Village.
The Eurovision Village will have a main stage, but also an area that is called “Discover Ukraine”, which will celebrate Ukrainian culture.

Welcome to Eurotopia | May 5th 2023, 17:00 – 23:00
The festivities in the Eurovision Village will open with a performance from last year’s Ukrainian winners, Kalush Orchestra.
A Royally Good Party | May 6th 2023, 10:30 – 23:00
It is the day of the Coronation of King Charles III! The Eurovision Village offers ways to watch the Coronation, accompanied by live performances of different Eurovision acts.
Firstival | May 7th 2023, 12:00 – not yet disclosed
Start the day with a children’s festival with live performances and appearances from the different BBC Kid’s channels (CBBC and CBEEbies).
Later that same day ( time TBA) emerging artists from the LIMF Academy will take the stage.
This is Ukraine | May 8th 2023, 12:00 – 23:00
Live performances from all sorts of different Ukrainian (pop) acts, like: Go_A and Alyona.
Night at the Opera and Semi-final 1 | May 9th 2023, 12:00 – 23:00
The day starts with the English National Opera that sings all sorts of Eurovision songs; they will be joined by former Eurovision acts. Next, there will be a live screening of Semi-final 1 of the contest.
United by Music | May 10th 2023, 12:00 – 23:00
United by Music is presented by the National British Lottery. There will be performances by young and upcoming artists.
Jamala presents QIRIM and Semi-final 2 | May 11th 2023, 12:00 -23:00
Jamala, the Ukrainian Eurovision winner of 2016, will premiere her latest album QIRIM, which is inspired by Jamala’s native roots, Crimea. Jamala’s performance will be supported by the BBC Philharmonic. After, there will be a live screening of Semi-final 2 of the contest.
EuroEve | May 12th 2023, 12:00 – 00:00
First the stage will be given to TikTok’s Eurovision Legends, and later that day an all-women’s line-up will perform live on stage, like: Sophie Ellis Bextor and Charlotte Church.
Eurovision Grand Final Night | May 13th 2023, 14:00 – 02:00
A live screening of the 2023 Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest can be watched in the Eurovision Village. There will also be a pre-show by Katrina (of Katrina and the waves), but also The Vengaboys. You do need tickets for this event!

Eurovision 2023
The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on May 9th, 11th, and 13th 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. 37 countries will compete for the crown. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be a joint venture, since last year’s winner Ukraine cannot organize the contest on home soil because of the ongoing war with Russia.
