And so it begins! This afternoon the first dress rehearsal of the 1st Semi-final will take place, and tonight it is already time for the jury show of the 1st Semi-final. During the latter the national professional jury give their votes to the contestants, and these votes count for 50% of the total score which determines whether a country will proceed to the Grand Final on May 14th 2022.
First dress rehearsal
The first dress rehearsal, also referred to as the “Family Show” for spectators who are going to see this first dress rehearsal live inside the venue of this year, the PalaOlimpico in Turin, Italy, will start at 15:00 CET.
Jury show
The second dress rehearsal, also referred to as the “Jury Show” will start at 21:00 CET, it has an audience, but will not be broadcasted live. This show is meant as a rehearsal, but also as a show during which the national professional juries cast their votes. These votes count for 50% tomorrow, as the live show of the First Semi-final is broadcasted live internationally online and on television.
