From Spain we head to Switzerland. Switzerland are being represented by Melanie Rene at this years contest across the border in Vienna, Austria. Melanie will be singing “Time To Shine” and hoping to repeat the success of Sebalter in 2014.
Switzerland was the host nation of the first ever contest in Lugano back in 1956 and won the contest with Lys Assia and her song “Refrain”. Switzerland went on to win the contest again in 1988 with the global superstar Celine Dion and her song “Ne partez pas sans moi”. Switzerland best result of recent years was an 8th place in Kiev with Vanilla Ninja and “Cool Vibes”.
On the Eurojury for Switzerland is Melissa who took part in their 2013 selection process. Melissa performed “The Point Of No Return”, she finished in 4th place in the final of the selection with 9.72% of the vote.

- Austria – 10 points
- Australia – 8 points
- Sweden – 7 points
- Latvia – 6 points
- France – 5 points
- Albania – 4 points
- Finland – 3 points
- The Netherlands – 2 points
- Belgium – 1 point
So after those results the top.5 now looks like this:
- Australia – 190 points
- Sweden – 153 points
- Italy – 146 points
- Russia – 105 points
- Albania – 88 points
