From the west we head east to Moldova. Moldova this year are being represented by Eduard Romanyuta who is singing “I want your love”. This will be Moldova’s 11th appearance in the contest.
Moldova debuted in Eurovision back in 2005 with the band Zdob şi Zdub and their song “Bunica Bate Toba”, they came 6th in Kiev with a total of 148 points, this remains Moldova’s best result. Moldova has qualified for the final on eight occassions, their worst result came last year where Cristina Scarlat came last in her semi final with just 13 points.
On the Eurojury today are:
- Olia Tira – Represented Moldova at Eurovision 2010 with the group Sunstroke Project, they sang “Runaway”. She attempted to represent Moldova again in 2014.
- Stela Botan – Sang “Save Me” in O Melodie Pentru Europa 2015, she finished 8th in the final with a total of 8 points.

- Romania – 10 points
- Albania – 8 points
- Sweden – 7 points
- Hungary – 6 points
- Estonia – 5 points
- Russia – 4 points
- Cyprus – 3 points
- Spain – 2 points
- Iceland – 1 point
So here is how the top.5 looks now:
- Australia – 132 points
- Italy – 123 points
- Sweden – 102 points
- Russia – 85 points
- Albania – 70 points
