The first edition of the Hashir Haba L’Eurovision 2020 finished some minutes ago. The show was used to select just the song, after the singer Eden Alene was selected in the talent show “Hakokhav Haba L’Eurovizion”, as has been tradition since 2015.
At the end of the show, the votes have decided that the best song, which Eden Alene will sing in Eurovision 2020, is “Feker libi”. We’ll be able to first see her performing in Rotterdam on May 12 in the first semifinal.
As we have stated previously, Eden was selected through the talent show “The Next Star”, but this year the Israeli network decided to make another show to select the winning show that will represent them in Rotterdam. Finally, there were 5 songs performed by the artist tonight.
A professional jury and the public through the official KAN voting app have been responsible for choosing the winning song of the night. The voting in the app has remained open until the beginning of the shiw when the voting has been closed momentarily. After Eden had peeformed the four songs the voting has been reopened until the announcement of the winning song.
