The Danish broadcaster has open submissions for the next year’s Eurovision national selection.
After two years in a row without qualifying, DR is looking for the song which makes them back to the Eurovision Grand Final. The broadcaster is asking Danish and foreign composers to send their songs until the 5th of September with the only aim to go through to the Grand Final again, as stated by DR’s head of entertainment Jan Lagermand Lundme.
Jan Lagermand Lundme has also revealed that they are looking into a new strategy which changes the unsuccessful results Denmark has been achieving for the last two years. According to him, the broadcaster will introduce changes, which will be announced in due course, in order to get over the poor previous results.
A professional jury will be responsible for selecting the best songs that will compete in the live broadcast.
