Dana International exhibit to run in Tel Aviv during Eurovision weeks

Dana International is having a good year. After releasing a duet with Charlotte Perrelli and then performing it along with her classic, ‘Diva’ at this year’s Melodifestivalen – she went onto appearing in front of thousands of fans at Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam.

Now, KAN reports that there will be a special exhibit open to fans, free of admission to display her career and impact on social change. The exhibit will be held in the Tel Aviv Expo Center and open for 2 weeks starting on May 3. The exhibition dedicated to Dana International previously opened in Holon and will move to the port of Tel Aviv, so that the contest fans can see it.

The exhibit is the result of a partnership between Tel Aviv Port and the Municipality of Holon and is titled “Bereshit, Dana International: The Exhibition”. Visitors will be able to learn how Dana has influenced local and global popular culture and has become an icon of social change. Through this fans will see how her career has been dedicated to the aspiration for equality and human rights.

Guided tours will be held in Hebrew and English in advance for groups and individuals.

  • Saturday 4.5 11: 00-20: 00
  • Sunday – Monday 5 + 6.5 11: 00-20: 00
  • Tuesday 7.5 11: 00-15: 00
  • Wednesday – Thursday 8 + 9.5 – Closed
  • Friday 10.5 11: 00-15: 00
  • Saturday 11.5 11: 00-20: 00
  • Sunday – Thursday 12-16.5 11: 00-20: 00
  • Friday 17.5 11: 00-15: 00
  • Saturday 18.5 11: 00-20: 00
