Czech Republic reveals official information of national final, winner announcement on January 29

The Czech broadcaster has revealed official details of their national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Six entries will compete in the last stage of Eurovision Song CZ, where the winner will be decided online.

More than four hundred of songs were received to compete in the Czech national selection, but only one of them will be performed in Lisbon. The winner will be decided by a 50/50 combination of votes from an international jury panel and the audience via Eurovision App.

Some fans have already tried to find out who is in each picture. These are the names being rumored to compete for the big prize:

  • Mikolas Josef
  • Jakub Ondra
  • Eddie Stoilow
  • NÄ›kdo starší
  • Anabelle

The schedule:

The broadcaster has announced the schedule of procedures, so you don’t miss any important announcements about the Czech final stage:

  • 8 January: Release of music videos and songs during a press conference.
  • 22 January: Voting starts for the international judges and audience. Only Czech votes will be counted.
  • 29 January: Winner announcement.
