Yesterday, March 2nd 2023, Cypriot entrant, Andrew Lambrou, released his Eurovision entry “Break a Broken Heart”.

About the entry “Break a Broken Heart”
Jimmy Jansson (wrote a great number of Eurovision entries) as well as Thomas Stengaard (co-wrote the 2013 winning entry of Emmelie de Forest, “Only Teardrops”, and several other successful Eurovision entries) co-wrote and produced the 2023 Cypriot entry, “Break a Broken Heart”. The song was recorded in the capital city of Sweden, Stockholm.

Singer Andrew Lambrou was born to Greek-Cypriot parents in Sydney, one of the biggest cities in Australia. In 2022 Andrew competed to become Australia’s representative in that year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Turin (Italy), but he came in seventh with the song “Electrify”.
Eurovision 2023
Cyprus’ Andrew Lambrou with his song “Break a Broken Heart” will compete in the first half of the second Semi-final on May 11th 2023.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on May 9th, 11th, and 13th 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. 37 countries will compete for the crown. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be a joint venture, since last year’s winner Ukraine cannot organize the contest on home soil because of the ongoing war with Russia.
