Croatia 2024: It is Baby Lasagna for Croatia!

Tonight the televised Croatian national final, Dora 2024, took place from Croatia’s capital, Zagreb. 16 Acts took the stage, but eventually it was Baby Lasagna with the rock song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” that took the crown and will fly the Croatian flag in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö (Sweden).

This week the Croatian national final, Dora 2024, took place. 24 Acts initially competed, and in the Croatian grand final 16 acts fought for the crown.

In the grand final of Dora 2024 both international juries and the public decided the eventual winner, which was Baby lasagna. Below you can find how the juries and the public voted.

How were the votes divided in the Croatian national final?

Below you can find how the votes were divided in Dora 2024, the Croatian national final. First the professional jury votes were announced and last the public votes, just like in the actual Eurovision Song Contest. The first points are the jury votes and the second the public votes.

About Baby Lasagna

Baby Lasagna, the stage name of Marko Purišić, is a Croatian singer, songwriter, and music producer. First this musician played in a band, with which he also competed in the Croatian national final in 2019, and reached 4th place, in 2023 he decided on going solo, and this week he took part in Dora 2024, and won. Baby Lasagna’s music influences are in pop punk, techno, metal and house; mostly he writes and sings about his own personal experiences.

When will Croatia perform in Eurovision 2024?

Croatia’s Baby Lasagna with the song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” will perform in the first half of the first Semi-final in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö (Sweden).

Who competed for Croatia in Eurovision 2023?

It was the band Let 3 with the song “Mama šč” that competed for Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool (UK). The ended in 10th place (of 15) in Semi-final 1, and eventually took 13th place (of 26) in the 2023 Grand Final. In 2024 they tried again to compete for Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest.
