The contestants

These are the contestants and songs of Belgian Eurosong 2025.

Semi-final 1 (January 18th 2025)

  • Grace – Pull Up: Grace will sing an upbeat party song with meaning. The song is about sticking up for yourself, and not following the masses. The song is in English, but also features some words in Lingala, with which Grace honors her Congolese roots.

  • Lenn – Air Balloon: This is Lenn’s first single release. This song is about how the sun always rises after hard times, it just takes some time. The song is not especially written for Eurosong 2025.

  • Le Manou – Fille à papa: This is a fun pop song in the French language, it has many influences of ‘90’s house music. Le Manou has a professional DJ career, and she likes to offer a party on-stage. The song is about all nepo babies in the world, but also about the achievements of these children.
  • LEEZ – Perfectly Imperfect: The song “Perfectly Imperfect” is a typical Eurovision anthem with a modern twist. The plot of the song is about how couples balance each other out, despite their differences.

Semi-final 1 (January 25th 2025)

  • Jelle van Dael – Monster: “Monster” tells the story about the less fun things that can happen in life, but also about finding the inner power to fight back. This song is autobiographical, but it is also universal. Jelle co-wrote the song.
  • Mentissa – Désolée: Mentissa’s song is all about confidence, to dare more, and to not take a step back. Next to this, Mentissa describes herself as a sensitive person. This singer wants to make a statement.
  • Red Sebastian – Strobe Lights: This song is an ode to the heavy beats of ‘90’d rave culture, it tells the story of an exciting club night that has no beginning and no end. The song shows Red Sebastian’s singing capabilities as no other.
  • Stefanie Callebaut – Gloria: “Gloria” is a celebration of light and love. People who have already listened to Stefanie’s song, say that it is a modern version of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. It is not an easy pop song, it is a unique experience.
