Belgium 2024: Mustii releases his entry “before the Party’s Over”

This morning 2024 Belgian entrant Mustii officially released his Eurovision entry “Before the Party’s Over”. This happened on the public Walloon broadcaster, La Une and Tipik Radio, because this year the French part of Belgium had to search for a Belgian representative.

Before the Party’s Over

This year’s Belgian entry (French part) was officially presented on the show “Le 8/9” on La Une and Tipik Radio, the Walloon national broadcaster. The song was presented together with its accompanying video.

This Belgian entry was written by Mustii himself. The last couple of minutes of the song features a choir consists of almost thousand seperate recordings; an initiative of Mustii who asked for people to sing a couple of lines from the song and submit this to him to create a choir.

Selection process

This year’s Belgian entrant, Mustii, was internally chosen by a selection committee of the Walloon national broadcaster, RTBF, because this year it was up to the French-language part of Belgium to choose a Eurovision representative.

When will Belgium perform in Eurovision 2024?

Belgium will perform in the second half of the second Semi-final on May 9th 2024.

Who represented Belgium in Eurovision 2023?

In the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool (UK) Belgium was represented by Gustaph, who did very well in the competition. He ended in 8th position (of 16) in Semi-final 2, and went on to take the 7th spot (of 26) in the 2023 Grand Final.
