BTRC has held today internal auditions which have ended with 10 candidates being selected to compete at the Belarusian national final for Junior Eurovision.
These are the strong contenders that have gone through to the national final show:
- Alexander Minyonok (Minsk)
- Yuliya Mozhilovskaya (Minsk)
- Olga Konovalova (Mogilev)
- Stefaniya Sokolova (Minsk)
- Group “Neskuchniy vozrast” (Minsk)
- Elena Titova (Mogilev)
- Zinaida Kupriyanovich (Minsk)
- Mariya Zhilina (Minsk)
- Show-group So-Ni-Ka (Vitebsk)
- Mariya Magilnaya (Mogilev)
(Keep in mind that the participants are not singing their competing entries for Junior Eurovision on the videos attached above)
Among the candidates we can see many familiar names that have previously attempted to represent Belarus: Yuliya Mozhilovskaya (2013), Elena Titova (2014), Group “Neskuchniy Vozrast” (2015), Zinaida Kupriyanovich (2015) and Mariya Magilnaya (2015). Zinaida Kupriyanovich and Alexander Minyonok are also former participants of New Wave Junior.
The selected finalists have been chosen among 45 contenders by a professional jury panel after the internal live auditions held today in the BTRC headquarters. The overall winner and Belarusian representative will be decided by a mix of professional jury and televoting during a live show to take place no later than September 16.
