BTRC has just launched an open call for songs for their 2019 national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Belarus will select its representative from a live national final which will take place no later than 8 March. The overall winner will be decided by a professional jury panel.
Singers and composers willing to represent Belarus in Tel Aviv can apply from today until 31 January 2019. The candidates are required to send their applications, along with a photocopy of their national identity card, questionnaire, photos, lyrics and the audio track, through the following online form.
When the submission period closes, all the entrants will be invited to perform at the audition phase of the competition, which will be broadcast live on 4 February. A panel of experts will select around 10 acts to participate in the televised national final, which will be held no later than 8 March. This year, BTRC has announced that the winner will be decided by solely jury vote.
