Azerbaijan 2024: It is Fahree for Azerbaijan!

Fahree will represent Azerbaijan in the upcoming contest in Malmö (Sweden). The reveal was made on the official Eurovision social media, governed by the EBU.

About Fahree

Fahree is a singer based in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. He was a singer before the global pandemic, but after the pandemic his love for singing returned. Fahree studied to become a lawyer before. The singer Fahree comes from a talented family, his father was a jazz drummer and his grandfather was an actor.

Internal selection

This year’s selection of Azerbaijan happened internally. Although Fahree was on the longlist of the original six possible entrants to represent Azerbaijan; Fahree was not one of the two last possible representatives. Aisel (Eurovision 2018) and İlkin Dövlətov and Mila Miles and Etibar Əsədli were “supposedly” the last two potential representatives.

Fahree’s entry will be made public in the upcoming days, which will be fast since the deadline is March 10th 2024.

When will Azerbaijan compete in Eurovision 2024?

Azerbaijan will compete in the second half of the first Semi-final on May 7th 2024 in Eurovision 2024 in Malmö (Sweden).

Who represented Azerbaijan in Eurovision 2024?

In the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Liverpool (UK) Azerbaijan was represented by TuralTuranX with the song “Tell Me More”. These twins did not do well, ending in the penultimate position (14 of 15) in Semi-final 1.
