SBS and ABC have just announced as a video on the official JESC channel that Isabella Clarke will sing “Speak Up!” for Australia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017. This 13-year old singer has already taken part in several competitions and she is currently one of the leading roles in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular.
She states:
The meaning of Speak Up! is obviously speaking up, voicing your opinion and believing yourself, especially being young women or girls, being able to say what you want to say in life.
She also said that she loves performing and making people happy, and she’s looking forward to meeting a lot of people from around the world. The song will be released soon according to the official YouTube channel of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, so stay tuned!
