It took them some time to release the artist and the song that their country is going to represent during the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin (Italy), but Armenia did it today, Rosa Linn’s song “Snap” has been released.
About Rosa Linn
Rosa Linn is the artist name of Rosa Kostandyan. Rosa is 21 years of age, and she lives and works in the northern part of Armenia, in Vanadzor to be precise. According to the American magazine “Flaunt” Rosa is the first female music producer of Armenia, which is quite a step forward in the Armenian music business. Rosa is part of a music collective, called “Nvak Collective”. This collective was initiated by Tamar Kaprelian, who represented Armenia in the song contest of 2015 in Vienna, with the group “Genealogy”. Another initiator of the music collective is record producer Alex Salibian.

The song is written and composed by Rosa Linn herself, but also by Jeremy Dusoulet, Larzz Principato, Tamara Mardirossian, Allie Crystal, and Courtnet Harrell.
Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest
In 2021 Armenia was not represented in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. In 2020 Athena Manoukian was chosen to represent the country with the song “Chains On You”, but that year’s contest was cancelled due to the pandemic; unfortunately Athena was not chosen to make a return in the contest of 2021. During their last time competing in 2019 singer Srbuk finished 16th in the Semi-final, which meant that Armenia did not compete in the Grand Final for 2 years in a row.
Eurovision Song Contest 2022
This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will take place on May 10th (Semi-final 1), 12th (Semi-final 2), and on the 14th (Grand Final) in Turin, Italy. Armenia will compete in the second half of the first Semi-final.
