AMPTV has just revealed further details of the live phase of Depi Evratesil 2018. The Armenian national selection will be made up of three shows, two Semi-Finals and a Grand Finale that will take place on 25th February.
Depi Evratesil will kick off on 19th February with the First Semi-Final and the first ten candidates competing for a spot in the final. Although the Armenian broadcaster initially announced that they would broadcast several heats, a Semi-Final and a Grand Finale, they will finally air three shows, in which the 20 hopefuls will fight to represent the country in Lisbon.
Ten candidates will perform in each Semi-Final, but only five of them will go through to the final show after a combination of votes from the audience and the international jury panel. So, the final will see 10 acts compete for the ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
The running order for the Semi-Finals will be announced on 12th February.
