Armenia announces new selection format for Eurovision 2017!

ARMTV has just confirmed participation for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest announcing big changes in their national selection format.

After some years selecting internally, the broadcaster has revealed they will be choosing their 2017 representative through an external selection procedure called “Depi Evratesil” (To Eurovision). This brand new project is a three-month long music competition, produced by ARMTV, where former Armenian representatives will choose their successor.

“If you are Armenian or of an Armenian heritage, 16 years and older, if you think you have something to show to the world and if you’ve ever dreamed of rocking that big stage of Eurovision, then it’s your time to shine!”

All interested singers aged 16 or older can register for the auditions from the 6th of July until the 25th of August through an on-line application form available on the official website of the broadcaster.

You can also follow the official Facebook page of “Depi Evratesil” for the latest updates about this brand new selection show.

My name is Belén. I’m a musician and English teacher from Spain.

I have been following Eurovision since I was only 11 and the junior version since the beginning (expert of this contest). I love Eurovision because I love discovering new songs every year.

Before ESC+Plus, I have been part of very well-known websites about (Junior) Eurovision. Apart from writing, I love taking professional photos, designing and editing videos, I’m very creative!

I have already traveled to Eurovision and Junior Eurovision a few times and I highly recommend it! =)
