In the first show on December 20th, all songs will be performed with the traditional FiK orchestra. On December 21st, we will get to hear the songs again but this time with a Eurovision style arrangement. The contestants will also make use of staging concepts during that show. A winner will then be decided on December 22. This is the first time Albania will use the concept of having the FiK contestants think of the ultimate Eurovision presentation.
On December 3rd it was announced that Vikena Kamenica and the song “Natën e mirë” would not take part. The artist has withdrawn from the participation due to some unexpected professional commitments, which have become an obstacle to fulfilling the Festival’s regulations. According to the Festival’s rules based on the ratings of the Selection Committee, it will be replaced by “Dua ta besoj” performed by Artemisa Mithi & Febi Shkurti.
