Germany 2023: Entrants will be announced on January 27th 2023

German national broadcaster, ARD, announced that the entrants of Unser Lied für Liverpool will be announced on January 27^th 2023.

Announcement of competing acts

The announcement of the acts that will compete in “Unser Lied für Liverpool”, the German national final, will be announced on January 27^th 2023.

Nine competing acts

There will possibly be nine acts, and one or more acts that derive from a TikTok wildcard search of the German national broadcaster. The wildcard will be selected by public voting, which will happen between January 27^th and February 3^rd 2023. The TikTok wildcard act(s) will be made public on February 4^th 2023 at 18:00 CET during an online live show with the name “Alles Eurovision”.

Unser Lied für Liverpool

The German national final, “Unser Lied für Liverpool”, will be held on March 3^rd 2023 at 22:15 CET. The show will be broadcast live on TV on Das Erste.

Eurovision 2022

In the contest of 2022 Germany was represented by Malik Harris who sang “Rockstars” in Turin (Italy). In the Grand Final of 2022 Germany ended in 25^th place in the Grand Final, thus last. Because Germany belongs to the Big Five countries, they do not have to compete in the Semi-finals.
