The Montenegrin head of delegation Sabrija Vulić has informed to ESC+Plus that they won’t be joining this year’s edition of Junior Eurovision.
Montenegro has participated at Junior Eurovision twice debuting in 2014 with the duo Masa & Lejla. Last year, they were represented by Jana Mirković achieving their best result, a 13th place.
This year’s edition of Junior Eurovision will take place on November 20th at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta. 13 countries have already confirmed their participation while other 3 countries have withdrawn from the competition: Slovenia, San Marino and today Montenegro. Still waiting for the final line-up that is expected to be released in the upcoming weeks.
