The Eurovision Song Contest is heading towards its 70th edition, which will take place in Vienna (Austria) on May 12, 14, and 16 at the Wiener Stadthalle.
On this occasion, Lithuania has once again chosen its representative through the preselection Eurovizija.LT. In its 2026 edition, across several elimination rounds, 40 artists competed. Only 11 reached the grand final, where Lion Ceccah with “Sólo Quiero Más” was crowned the winner. He was the public’s favorite and achieved second place in the professional jury vote. Despite a tie with SHWR, having received more public votes, he secured the victory in his fifth attempt to reach the Eurovision Song Contest.
How has he reached Eurovision? What experience does he have in the music industry? How is he preparing his entry for Vienna 2026?
On this occasion, we review the musical career of Lion Ceccah, the context of his entry, and his song. The Lithuanian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will attempt to take his country back to the Grand Final with “Sólo Quiero Más”, in what will be Lithuania’s 27th participation in the European contest.

Lion Ceccah, stage name of Tomas Alenčikas, was born on August 1, 1991 in Vilnius, Lithuania. From a very young age he showed a strong connection to the arts, training in both music and acting. He studied at the Karoliniškės Music School and later graduated in Musical Theatre from the Vilnius College, completing his education with a master’s degree at the Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy. In addition, he studied violin and dance for years, developing a multidisciplinary artistic foundation.
His career took an important turn in 2017 when he participated in the Lithuanian version of X Factor under the alter ego Alen Chicco, where he finished in fourth place. From then on, he began releasing his own songs and consolidating his artistic identity, combining experimental pop with elements of drag culture and a strong visual component. He also founded Studio 91, a creative space in Vilnius dedicated to exhibitions, performances and workshops, contributing to the development of drag art in the country.
Under the name Alen Chicco, he released several singles and the album Mūsų Lietuva (2021), a project that offered a modern vision of Lithuanian identity. His artistic proposal is characterized by a striking aesthetic, the use of elaborate costumes and a conscious exploration of gender identity, moving away from traditional labels. Despite his extroverted stage image, the artist himself defines himself as an introverted person off stage.
His career has also been marked by activism. In a social context that was initially not very favorable, he defended the visibility of drag art and denounced hate speech, even after suffering an assault. This experience influenced his music, where he addresses themes such as diversity, respect and freedom of expression.
He has tried on several occasions to represent Lithuania in Eurovision, achieving notable results in different national selections. In 2025 he finished in second place with «DROBĖ», and finally in 2026 he achieved victory with «Sólo Quiero Más», thanks to the support of the public.

Lyrics
Even if we’re living in a mad world
Even if there’re no more gods to pray for
Sólo quiero sólo quiero más
Sólo quiero más
Even if we’re living in a mad world
Even if we’re standing as the sky falls
Sólo quiero
Sólo quiero más
Sólo quiero más
Dolor y alegría, así es la vida
Gal lengviau būtų su subtitrais?
Comme dans un vieux film la douleur
Crée la musique qui unit sans mots
Sólo quiero más
Even if we’re living in a mad world
Even if there’re no more gods to pray for
Sólo quiero sólo quiero más
Sólo quiero más
Even if we’re living in a mad world
Even if we’re standing as the sky falls
Sólo quiero
Sólo quiero más
Sólo quiero más
(Even if we’re living in a mad world)
Ich will einfach mehr
(Even if there’re no more gods to pray for)
Je veux juste plus
(Even if we’re living in a mad world)
Voglio solo di più
(Even if we’re standing as the sky falls)
Aš tiesiog noriu daugiau
English
It scares, it haunts, everywhere I am
Who dares to ask: “What am I living for?”
It hasn’t hurt me in a long time
It doesn’t hurt me anymore…
I keep spinning again and again, in the fog the shores of truth
They say look inside and you will find what you never found
When everything falls apart I see life
And the further I look
I just want more
I just want more
Even if we’re living in a mad world
Even if there’re no more gods to pray for
I just want, I just want more
I just want more
Even if we’re living in a mad world
Even if we’re standing as the sky falls
I just want
I just want more
I just want more
Pain and joy, that’s life
Maybe it would be easier with subtitles?
Like in an old movie, let the pain
Create music that unites without words
I just want more
Even if we’re living in a mad world
Even if there’re no more gods to pray for
I just want, I just want more
I just want more
Even if we’re living in a mad world
Even if we’re standing as the sky falls
I just want
I just want more
I just want more
(Even if we’re living in a mad world)
I just want more
(Even if there’re no more gods to pray for)
I just want more
(Even if we’re living in a mad world)
I just want more
(Even if we’re standing as the sky falls)
I juѕt wаnt more
Lithuania at Eurovision: A Quick History
Lithuania debuted in Eurovision in 1994, being one of the first Eastern countries to join after the dissolution of the USSR. Its debut was difficult, with a last place and no points, its worst result in history. Since then, it has had a modest track record and has not yet managed to win. Its best result came in 2006 with LT United and «We Are The Winners», reaching 6th place.
It has only achieved three Top 10 finishes, including the memorable 8th place by The Roop with their “Discoteque”. In recent years it has maintained average results. In 2023 Monika Linkytė narrowly missed the Top 10 with “Stay”, finishing 11th. In 2024 Silvester Belt achieved 14th place in the final, and in 2025 Katarsis reached an unexpected 16th place.
