The Eurovision fan clubs grouped in the OGAE network (Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l’Eurovision) carry out their traditional pre-contest vote, in which their members choose their favorites of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
In this edition, the OGAE Poll 2026 takes place during the months of April and May, when each of the fan clubs reveals its score. A total of 44 associations make up the OGAE network, in addition to one group representing the rest of the world.
In this edition, 43 delegations have taken part in the voting, awarding their points to the 35 songs competing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. With these results, the overall OGAE voting ranking is created, an indicator prior to the contest considered an unofficial thermometer of Eurovision fans’ preferences.
Last year, Sweden with KAJ and their “Bara Bada Bastu” achieved first place in this virtual vote with a total of 421 points, sweeping with 24 maximum scores. In 2025, a total of 5,201 fans voted in their respective national OGAE fan clubs and decided their winner. Ultimately, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 was Austria with Johannes Pietsch (JJ) and his “Wasted Love,” who had previously reached 2nd place in this fan poll.

The story of the OGAE Poll
Every year since 2007, OGAE International organizes one of the largest fan polls before the Eurovision Song Contest: the OGAE Poll. Members of the different national clubs cast their votes individually according to the local format.
The different formats can include a specific listening event with club members, an annual convention, or an online survey. Once the process is completed, each club sends its Top 10 to OGAE International using the traditional Eurovision voting style: 12, 10, 8, 7, …
The OGAE Poll has been held since 2007 among members of the Eurovision fan clubs (OGAE stands for Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l’Eurovision). Over these years, the winners of the poll in 2007, 2009, 2012, 2018, and 2023 ultimately went on to triumph on the Eurovision stage.
