Today RTP has revealed a snippet of the song all candidates will perform at the national final, which will take place next week. The track has been composed by João Cabrita and it will be sung by the Portuguese representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

These are the five singers that will compete to represent Portugal in Tbilisi:
- Filipa Ferreira (11 years)
- Mariana Leite (14 years)
- Margarida Lima (12 years)
- Duarte Valença (10 years)
- Mariana Venâncio (10 years)
The winner of the Portuguese final will be decided by a mix of a professional jury panel and televoting, which is already open. The final decision will be made on October 5 on the morning magazine “A Praça”.
