SEMI-FINAL 2

Many surprises can actually be remarkable by looking at the tables above as there were a few disagreements regarding to countries who made it the final by either the televoting or the jury, as it is the case of Estonia, Malta, Switzerland or Finland. By surprise of many Eurovision followers, fan-favorite Latvia came last in the combined result of the first semi-final.

Portugal, this year’s Eurovision champion won the vote by both televoting and jury panel of all Europe as well as runner-up Bulgaria on their respective semi-finals.

How much are you enjoying this year’s winner? Portugal has just won the contest for their first time in their 53-year Eurovision history, so big congratulations to this nation!

About Adrián Valiente (Spain)

Adrián Valiente (Spain)
I love the Eurovision Song Contest not only because of its amazing production but it also gives me the chance to discover new music every year. I've been watching it since 2002, since then I became a huge follower, mostly because of the interest TVE put on it with Rosa from Spain. I've attended the contest several times in the last few years. I also attended the Junior Eurovision in Malta and Bulgaria where we lived an amazing experience thanks to all delegations and PBS/BNT organising team.
