Victoria Romanova: “Eurovision 2017 tickets will go on sale next week”

Official ticketing partner of this year’s contest in Ukraine may put the first bunch of tickets on sale next week, as confirmed today to Ukranian tabloid Strana.ua

This has been confirmed following the Semifinal Allocation Draw by Executive Producer of UA:PBC and this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Victoria Romanova: “The price range is wide. All tickets will be distributed in a large number of categories. Therefore, we hope that Ukrainians from all over the country will be able to attend the competition. We will also await European fans, and fans from around the world. We’ll release the prices at the same time we start ticket sales.”

Romanova also revealed feeling confident on what the IEC (International Exhibition Centre) as a music venue can offer to the audience attending and at home when it comes to TV production, visually and acoustically, making this contest memorable, following also the release of the stage design. This is what she said: “When we signed the lease agreement with the IEC, we had already conducted a number of studies in it — firstly acoustic, because the Eurovision Song Contest requires a high level of sound quality”.

All the technical equipment will be starting to be moved to the venue in March. The production team will start working inside IEC on the 18th of March, “it will be the first day when all of our technical, manufacturing, and creative teams will start developing a Eurovision world inside IEC”, Romanova added.
