BBC have just revealed the name of the three members that will make up the jury panel for their national final. The United Kingdom will held their selection show on the 27th of January at London’s Hammersmith Apollo with the winner being decided by a combination of public vote and jury decision.
The judges will not only give their points, but they will also provide all candidates with their own thoughts about the act and song, as well as some tips for the international competition. You can find the jury members for Eurovision: You Decide below:
- Bruno Tinoli, Italian choreographer, dancer and TV personality.
- Sophie Ellis-Bextor, British singer, composer and fashion model.
- CeCe Sammy, British vocal and performance coach.

A total of 6 acts will compete to represent United Kingdom at this year’s Eurovision during a show to be hosted by Mel Giedroyc. The final will also feature some special guests, the Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak and the popular boy-band The Vamps.
The BBC invited the UK branch of OGAE fan club to assist once again in shortlisting the entries received from the open submission. The broadcaster have also revived its partnership with BASCA (British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors) who ran their own submission competition amongst its members. They have also been in close contact with industry experts once again at BPI (British Phonographic Industry) with a selection of writers, producers, managers and other members. Hugh Goldsmith (formerly of RCA Records and founder of Innocent Records) has acted as a music consultant to the BBC for 2017.
Don’t miss the reveal of all 6 candidates live on the BBC Radio 2 show, The Ken Bruce Show, on Monday between 10.30 and 13:00 CET.
