Ukraine: Jamala releases music video for 1944

Jamala has released today the official music video for her Eurovision winning entry 1944.

The official video clip is directed by the renowned Anatoliy Sachivko, with cameras by Nikita Kuzmenko. The abandoned military base “Pamir” in Bukovina Carpathians, Chernivtsy region, was the location of the shooting which lasted three days. The video was shot on the top of Tomnatik mountain, 1565m above the sea level.

Jamala was the winner of Eurovision 2016, after getting the support of both jury and audience with 534 points, bringing the contest back to Kyiv in 2017.
