Today, the Australian broadcaster SBS announced the two more acts we will see compete in Australia Decides, the second edition of its national final contest.
Mitch Tambo
Mitch is an indigenous artist who recently appeared on Australia’s Got Talent. He wowed judges and fans alike and although he fell short of claiming the top prize, a campaign for his candidacy to represent Australia in the next Eurovision started on social media almost immediately.
iOTA
iOTA is a New Zealand-Australian singer-songwriter and actor. As a musician, he has issued six studio albums and was nominated for Best Independent Release for The Hip Bone Connection (1999) at the ARIA Music Awards of 2000. He has also done extensive theater work including acclaimed roles in the musicals Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Rocky Horror Picture Show.
They join previously announced artists Casey Donovan and Vanessa Amorosi, and six more artists who are yet to be announced. The final of Australia Decides will take place on 8th February 2020 live from Australia’s Gold Coast.
