The third season of the Latvian selection show Supernova has just concluded with Triana Park being declared the winners. At tonight’s national final broadcast live from Riga, four acts fought for the honour to sing for Latvia in Kyiv, but only one of them got the highest amount of points from the TV viewers.
The band will perform the song “Line” at the First Semi-Final of Eurovision 2017:
These are the four acts that competed at the final of Supernova :
- My Radiant You – All I Know
- Triana Park – Line
- The Ludvig – I’m In Love With You
- Santa Daņeļeviča – Your Breath
The final winner has been selected by 100% audience decision. This year, however, Spotify data helped to select the Eurovision entrant as half of the public outcome was decided according to the number of plays registered on the on-line music platform.
Special guests for the final were the last year’s Latvian representative Justs performing his song “Message To You” and the 2009 entrant Intars Busulis, who premiered his new single “Debesis”.
