GPB’s edition of Georgian Idol, this year’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest reaches its conclusion tonight.
The four remaining acts will perform a song chosen from the three songs shortlisted as candidates to represent Georgia in Tel Aviv. As you can see from the list below, the titles are all in Georgian – and it has been stated that this year’s entry will indeed be sung in Georgian.

- Liza Kalandadze – Sevdisperi Zgva (M/L: Levan Basharuli)
- Oto Nemsadze – Sul Tsin Iare (M/L: Roma Giorgadze)
- Giorgi Nakashidze – Sul Tsin Iare (M/L: Roma Giorgadze)
- Giorgi Pruidze – Me Mjera (M/L: Tamar Babilua)
The winner of Georgian Idol will be decided entirely by public voting. Georgian Idol has been using both SMS as well as Facebook Messenger voting.
Vaniko Tarkhnishvili and Ruska Makashvili are the hosts of the Georgian version of Idol. You can watch the show tonight at 19.00 CET on the ESC-Plus multi-window viewer.
