This evening sees Ukraine reaching the final stage of their search for a worthy successor to Ruslana and Jamala – and a third ESC title: Vibdbir 2018 grand final takes place from Kiev!
Eurovision 2017 host nation Ukraine will select tonight the act (both artist and entry) who will fly the colors of their flag at this year’s extravaganza in Lisbon. The final show of Vidbir will take place live from Kiev’s Palace of Culture and a total of 6 acts, who previously made it through from two different semifinals will battle it out for that desired ticket to Eurovision.
Take a look at the line-up:
- Kadnay – Beat of Universe
- Tayanna – Lelya
- The Erised – Heroes
- Laud – Wating
- Vilna – Forest song
- Melovin – Under the ladder
The 2016 Ukrainian Eurovision winner Jamala will be gracing the stage during the show and will perform her brand new song Krila.
Tonight’s transmission will be hosted by Serhiy Prytula and will be available to watch live from 18:00 CET on our multi-window platform.
The winner will be determined the 50/50 combination of the votes from the Ukrainian televoting along with the studio panel, made up by Eugene Filatov, Jamala and Andreiy Danilko.
Who would you like to follow in the steps of O’Torvald at the contest? Will one of this acts improve their final rank on May 12 in case they are good enough to qualify for the final?
