Today Albania will host the Grand Finale of their traditional Albanian music festival in Tirana. 18 acts qualified from the semifinals will take part at the final of the 59th Festivali i Kënges.
For the past two nights, we’ve been able to discover the 25 competing songs of this year’s FiK, first in original and then in acoustic, but now it’s time to know who will win the big prize and the right to represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. At today’s show, all 18 finalists will perform their entries in their original version, as it happened in the first show:
- Sardi Strugaj – “Ka me t’ba me kajt”
- Xhesika Polo – “Më mbron”
- Orgesa Zaimi – “Valixhja e kujtimeve”
- Wendi Mancaku – “Vesi i shpirti tim”
- Era Rusi – “Zjarri im”
- Gjergj Kaçinari – “Më jep jetë”
- Rosela Gjylbegu – “Vashëzo”
- Devis Xherahu– “Peng”
- Mirud – “Nëse vdes”
- Gigliola Haveriku – “E lirë”
- Viktor Tahiraj – “Nënë”
- Kamela Islamaj – “Kujtimet s’kanë formë”
- Florent Abrashi – “Vajzë”
- Inis Neziri – “Pendesë”
- Evi Reçi – “Tjerr”
- Anxhela Peristeri – “Karma”
- Festina Mejzini – “Kush je ti dashuri”
- Kastro Zizo – “Vallja e jetës”
Just like in the semi-final phase, it will be up to an expert panel to decide the outcome of the show. The winner will get the right to represent Albania in Rotterdam but, if he/she rejects it, RTSH will choose their next representative internally.
You can watch the Final of Festivali i Kënges 2020, which will be hosted by actress Jonida Vokshi and Albanian host Blendi Salaj, live from Tirana’s Sheshi Italia at 21.00 CET on RTSH.
