Tonight: Festivali i Kënges continues in Albania

The 59th edition of Festivali i Kënges continues today with the second semi-final. At the second show, all 25 candidates will sing acoustic versions of their songs. Just like in the first semi-final, all the performances will be broadcast pre-recorded.

25 acts are competing at this year’s Albanian music festival aimed to win the big prize and the chance to wave their country’s flag at the Eurovision Song Contest:

  3. Devis Xherahu- “Peng”
  4. Enxhi Nasufi- “Njësoj”
  5. Era Rusi – “Zjarri im”
  6. Erik Lloshi – “Jo”
  7. Evi Reçi – “Tjerr”
  8. Fatos Shabani – “Ty”
  9. Festina Mejzini – “Kush je ti dashuri”
  10. Florent Abrashi – “Vajzë”
  11. Franc Koruni – “E morën botën”
  12. Gigliola Haveriku – “E lirë”
  13. Gjergj Kaçinari – “Më jep jetë”
  14. Inis Neziri – “Pendesë”
  15. Kamela Islamaj – “Kujtimet s’kanë formë”
  16. Kastro Zizo – “Vallja e jetës”
  17. Klint Çollaku – “Do t’ia dal”
  18. Mirud – “Nëse vdes”
  19. Orgesa Zaimi – “Valixhja e kujtimeve”
  20. Rosela Gjylbegu – “Vashëzo”
  21. Sardi Strugaj – “Ka me t’ba me kajt”
  22. Stefan Marena – “Meteor”
  23. Viktor Tahiraj – “Nënë”
  24. Wendi Mancaku – “Vesi i shpirti tim”
  25. Xhesika Polo – “Më mbron”

From these acts, a professional jury panel will select the finalists that will compete at tomorrow’s show. The line-up for the Albanian final is expected to be revealed after today’s semi-final. As last year, it will also be up to the expert panel to decide the winner of Festivali i Kënges 2020.
