Today the Jury Dress Rehearsal will take place at the Gliwice Arena. This show will be watched by the professional jury panels of each and every one of the competing countries to decide half of the final outcome of this year’s Junior Eurovision
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 has finally arrived! For the past few days, the singers from the participating countries have been busy with rehearsals, some appointments, events, interviews and excursions all around Gliwice-Silesia.
Today, as the excitement grows being just a single day ahead of the Grand Final of the contest, the Jury Final is taking place in the Polish host city. This means that 50% of the final result will be decided based on what the artists deliver today on stage. The other 50% will be up to the viewers, who will be able to vote for their favourite songs on-line in two different rounds.
19 countries will compete at this year’s Junior Eurovision, which sees the return of Spain after 13 years, and the withdrawal of Azerbaijan and Israel. The 2019 contest will take place on November 24 in Gliwice-Silesia under the motto #shareTheJOY. Poland will host Junior Eurovision for the first time after the victory of Roksana Węgiel in 2018. Roksana herself, Ida Nowakowska and Aleksander Sikora will present the show live from Gliwice Arena.
