Eurovision Eurovision 2018 Bulgaria

These are the songs in the race to represent Bulgaria

BNT has revealed the titles of the candidate songs that will be considered to represent Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The broadcaster has received a record number of submissions, with more than two hundred applications, nine producers involved and thirteen projects submitted.

Following the close of the submission period, BNT has revealed that one of these songs will represent Bulgaria in Lisbon:

A final decision is expected to be made on 31 January, but it won’t be until 12 March when we will listen to the Bulgarian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Further information about BNT’s 2018 selection process can be found here.

Recent Bulgarian success:

The recent Bulgarian success at Eurovision started in 2016 when Poli Genova returned as their representative with the song “If Love Was A Crime”, which achieved a 4th place. This year, they even accomplished the hard task to improve their previous result, finishing 2nd at the Grand Final with the performance of the new-born star Kristian Kostov.

BNT is aimed to follow the formula that has led them to the top twice in a row, so the song they will bring to Eurovision 2018 will continue the radio-friendly style of their two previous entries.
