According to Dutch Eurovision site songfestivalweblog.nl, the Dutch entrant at next year’s Eurovision Song Contest Douwe Bob will be releasing the entry he will sing on the big stage on the 2nd of March.
The song presentation will be featured on morning show ”100%” together with Jan Smit. The singer admits he wants the song to be perfect, so they still keep on working on it. He also added that he is going to be alone on stage, ”I do not dance anyways. I put a nice suit on, and I think I can win things by charming and looking at the camera. I think that is where all my strength lies in”.
Back to September, the singer was selected internally by AVRO/TROS to wave their flag at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest to be held inside Globe Arena on the 10,12,14 May 2016. Last year, Trijntje sang for the country ”Walk Along” but unfortunately did not manage to qualify for the grand final on Saturday.
Douwe Bob also recorded and released a song with Anouk, the 2013 Dutch entrant who ranked 9th in the final with ”Birds”.
