Tele 2 Arena to host big Eurovision party!

SVT has just revealed the mystery around Tele 2 Arena, the enormous stadium next to the venue for this year’s Eurovision, Globen Arena: “Eurovision The Party”!

The Swedish broadcaster is coming with a brand new idea to let the fans, who didn’t manage to get a final ticket, enjoy the show from a very exclusive event. Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena will host a massive party during the Grand Final of Eurovision 2016, on May 14. The big event will be host by no other than Sanna Nielsen who represented Sweden at Eurovision 2014, achieving a 3rd place. The party will also feature some special guest, such as two Swedish winners, Carola and Loreen, Danny Saucedo or Panetoz.

“Eurovision the Party is an opportunity for more people to be a part of the Eurovision event as the tickets for the Globe Arena practically are sold out. In the Eurovision Village a public viewing will also be offered, and in the EuroClub festivities will be organised for people with accreditation. Eurovision The Party is a complement to all these events and one that we hope can become a tradition”, said Johan Bernhagen, Executive Producer of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

“It will be a totally new Eurovision experience with all the extras. Together we will be able to follow the artists, the party and to dance the whole night long. During the broadcast the audience in Tele2 can follow me backstage for a lot of fun interviews and a unique insight in what’s happening behind the scenes”, Sanna Nielsen says.

Tickets for this event will be released on Friday 18th March at 10:00 CET and will be available on AXS.com and will cost between 300 (32 euros) and 995 SEK (107 euros). A ticket to the after-party costs 200 SEK (21 euros). For more information visit the official website of Eurovision the Party.
