Sweden: Sanna Nielsen to be the Eurovision 2015 commentator!

Sanna Nielsen was tested this year for the first time on the role of host when she led Melodifestivalen 2015 together with Robin Paulsson. A role that was hailed by the viewers. Now Sanna continues with a trip to the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. Along with Edward af Sillén she will comment on the contest.

– Sanna has gone from a big famous schlager star to a full-fledged all-round artist in one year and since we have been a part of the whole transformation, it felt very natural to send her to Eurovision, says Christer Björkman.

In 2014 was Sanna Nielsen known for winning Melodifestivalen with “Undo” and represented Sweden in the Eurovision where she finished in a creditable third place. Something that she will benefit from now that she will comment on the contest for the first time.

– She has a sense of how it feels to be part of it and it is a fun experience to have in her back, says Christer Björkman.

Edward af Sillén who have commented on the Eurovision Song Contest for several years will be Sanna’s help in this new experience that she’s about to enjoy.

– Edward stands for continuity, knowledge and confidence for the viewers. Everyone knows that he knows all about Eurovision, says Christer Björkman and continues. They will have a fantastic lovely tone. They will be funny, serious, insightful and knowledgeable but at the same time amusing and light-hearted. It will be a very good combo.
