Eurovision Eurovision 2017 Spain

Spain: Mirela sends greetings to ESC+Plus one day ahead of national final!

Mirela, is one the candidates that will fight tomorrow for a place at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. Yesterday, a few hours prior to the final, she wanted to send greetings to all the people who have been supporting her throughout this past month, since she was announced as one of the finalists.

Moreover, she dared to tell us everything (or almost) about her staging and how she wants to approach the contest, which has been always her dream. She has also been into a lot of promotion for the past few days, rehearsals and preparations.

Mirela says that “Eurovision is one of the biggest music events in the world and every artist should be proud to represent their country.” Lack of experience is not by her side, because she has got enough: she took part in Eurojunior, the year that María Isabel eventually won for Spain the entire international competition, in addition to having taken part at TV programs such as Gente de Primera, La Voz (The Voice) o musicals like “The Lion King”.

The singer has already competed other three times more before to represent the country in Eurovision and in three of them, 2017 inclusive, she has managed to reach the final stage, hoping that this will be the lucky one. For the occasion , he brings “Conhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBTqNnLkQdQtigo”, a track composed and produced by big names in the Eurovision panorama, such as Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson (Spain 2007, 2012 and 2015), Ander Pérez (Spain 2003), Isaac Luque, Brynjard Buvarp Misvæ Ovi Jacobsen, who represented Romania at the contest achieving a third place in 2010 with “Playing With Fire” and also repeated left side of the scoreboard in 2014 with “Miracle”. Caber says that she wanted to reinvent herself after the previous attempts and right after RTVE’s internal proposal, she quickly said “yes, this has always been my dream”.

The whole team has a very clear idea of how the staging and the song should look and sound like and for the national final, Mirela will use an audiovisual show that will be magnified in case of winning and getting to step into the big stage in Kiev.
