Spain 2023: Entries of Benidorm Fest made public on December 19th 2022

On December 19th 2022 all 18 entries of Benidorm Fest 2023 will be revealed, states the Spanish national broadcaster RTVE. Next to the reveal, all 18 artists will have a press conference in the RTVE headquarters on that same day.

Who are the artists of Benidorm Fest 2023?

  • Agoney – “Quiero arder”
  • E’Femme – “Uff!”
  • Fusa Nocta – “Mi familia”
  • Blanca Paloma – “Eaea”
  • Aritz Arén – “Flamenco”
  • Rakky – “Tracción”
  • Alfred García – “Desde que tú estás”
  • Sofía Martín – “Tuki”
  • Alice Wonder – “Yo quisiera”
  • Famous – “La Lola”
  • Megara – “Arcadia”
  • Vicco – “Nochentera”
  • Twin Melody – “Sayonara”
  • José Otero – “Invierno en Marte”
  • Karmento – “Quiero y duelo”
  • Sharonne – “Aire” (Air)
  • Meler – “No nos moverán”
  • Siderland – “Que esclati tot” (this song will be sung in Catalan, which will be the first time a song in this Spanish dialect will participate in the Spanish national selection)

  • All live shows of the 2023 version of Benidorm Fest will be presented by Monica Naranjó, Inés Hernand and RodrigoVázquez, and these shows will take place in the Palau Municipal d’Esports I’Illa de Benidorm.
  • Last year 14 participants took part in Benidorm Fest, but this time around there will be 18 participants.
  • There will be two Semi-finals, on January 31st 2023 and February 2nd 2023, and there will be 8 acts in the Grand Final on February 4th 2023. There will also be six reserve entries, because the Spanish national broadcaster (RTVE) calculates that some entries might withdraw.
  • The voting system of upcoming year’s Benidorm Fest remains the same as last year’s. In all three shows the results will be decided by a professional jury (50%), a demoscopic* jury (25%), and public voting (25%).

* Demoscopic, a group of people chosen based on, i.e. gender, localization, age, or other situations.
