Serbia 2023: Update about national selection

Last year Serbia’s Konstrakta very successfully confronted Eurovision audiences with the question: “Why does Meghan Markle’s hair look so healthy?” in her song “In Corpore Sano”, and now there is an update about the 2023 national selection of Serbia.

Pesma za Evroviziju 2023

On March 4th 2023 Serbia will choose its next entrant in Eurovision during a televised national final, called “Pesma za Evroviziju 2023”. The Serbian national selection will consist of two Semi-finals and 1 Grand Final; below you can find the dates of these shows.

  • Semi-final 1: March 1st 2023
  • Semi-final 2: March 2nd 2023
  • Grand Final: March 4th 2023

Song selection process

No less than 200 songs were submitted to the national broadcaster of Serbia, and of this number 23 songs have been selected to compete in the national final of this country.

Eurovision 2022

In the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 Serbian singer Konstrakta competed with a rather haunting song about maintaining a (un)healthy lifestyle, called “In Corpore Sano”. By doing so Serbia ended in 3rd position in Semi-final 2, and in the Grand Final Kostrakta made it to 5th place (out of 25).
