San Marino: National final dates and details revealed

SMTV has just revealed details of their upcoming televised national final. 1in360 will kick off on 9th February with the first show, which will be broadcast pre-recorded.

Last month, the Sammarinese broadcaster revealed the name of the eleven candidates that had gone through the first phase of their national competition. The singers have recently been working on original songs along with composers and authors. Each contestant has written two tracks, that will be presented to the public acoustically in the first two shows.

You can find the list of finalists below:

  • Sara de Blue
  • Franklin Calleja
  • Judah Gavra
  • Jessika
  • Tinashe Makura
  • Camilla North
  • Sebastian Schmidt
  • Jenifer Sky
  • Emma (WILDCARD)
  • Giovanni Montalbano (WILDCARD)
  • Irol (WILDCARD)

How The Winner Will Be Selected:

1in360 will be made up of three shows, including a live final that will be broadcast from Bratislava. The first two shows will see the eleven finalists perform the acoustic versions of their two songs, while the jury panel will comment their impressions. At the end of the second show, the judges will say which songs each performer will perform in the final.

The selected songs will be arranged for the final show, so we will listen to the final versions no later than 23rd February when the online voting will be open to everyone. It’s interesting to highlight that the public voting will be done through PayPal under a payment of 1 euro to avoid fraud.

The overall winner will be chosen by the combination of votes from the jury panel and the mentioned online voting. The percentage of the online voting will be decided according to the number of votes received via PayPal.

Three shows will be broadcast to select the microstate’s next representative in Eurovision.

  • Second Show – 16th February (20.00 CET)
  • Live Final – 3rd March (21.00 CET)
